THAT feeling when you did it! I joined the Chapman Challenge over the weekend and managed to complete the trail run plus my first open water swim. I wasn't planning on doing the swim initially as I'm not a "swimmer", I can only swim to survive for crying out loud, plus I do get nervous when it comes to the open sea. Wasted quite a fair bit of time thinking if I wanted to go ahead and do it, but after calming myself down, I managed a rather good and steady pace.
THEN half way through, my calves cramped up. The guys wanted to pull me up but I was like, NO, I'm finishing this! I didn't swim half way just to give up now. If you start something, have the spirit and mindset to finish it! What is it that you want?
