Always have your feet firmly planted on the ground and stay humble. Don’t look down on others, no matter how less well-off they appear. You are no better than them and they are no better than you. Everybody is on their own journey. 

NEVER look down on someone, unless you’re helping them up. What makes you so special that you can look down on others and think you’re better than them? 

Would you like it if someone thinks less of you? We are all equal and shouldn’t we learn to treat each other with respect?

I’ve learned that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings and my decisions, even those closest to me. I can only learn NOT to be like that. 

You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only hope that they'll learn to respect you and treat others equally.
